Sarah Jane acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which she lives and travels over and celebrates their knowledge and continued cultural and spiritual connection to sea, land, waterways, sky, culture, and community.

Sarah Jane gives her respect to Elders past and present both on the traditional lands of her Narungga ancestors and on Wadawurrung Country where she lives. She honours all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples across the country and their Elders, those living and those resting in the Dreaming.
